The Salar serves as the main route of transportation throughout the Altiplano and a mandatory tourist stop.
Enter the Salar is entering a new world, unreal, elusive. The light is so strong that we could not ever open your eyes completely. The sun is aggressive to eyes and skin. As daylight varies salar color also varies, the colors are never the same natural elements take advantage of this salt reflectivity to shine too. Seeing the sunset at the salar was a remarkable experience that I will never forget.
