A little far from the conservative and functional documentary that guides my work, this series is a unique opportunity to admire the power of the Andes from the air. Sometimes it can be a bit abstract and, at some point we lose ourselves finding images drawn by nature (hope it happens to you).
It was photographed in January 2014 on a flight over the Andes Mountains in southern Argentina (Ushuaia). For me it was an experience I will never forget, I felt the power of the mountain range, I saw unique colours with a clean and transparent light to infinity.
I hope you can convey the strength and happiness I felt during this flight, that it suits you and bring something new to your lives.

Cork extraction in the North Alentejo (Portugal). This work was made for APCOR (Portuguese Cork Association) during 2014 summer.
Started in 2012 in the North of Portugal, this documentary continues in 2014 to the South.
The first part (Cork extraction in the north of Portugal) was made around a family during an extraction season: from the tree to the pile. It is a proximity and complicity documentary more connected to the people. To APCOR the documentary continued during the 2014 season in Ribatejo and North Alentejo with cork extraction and landscapes from different properties. A less close approach to people, more objective, focused on the extraction, the tree and the surrounding nature.

Portugal is the largest cork exporter in the world. Cork extraction is one of the stages of a long process that begins 30 years earlier when cork oak is either planted or born spontaneously.
In various regions of southern Europe, the cork oak is a tree that stands out in the landscape, both for its grandeur and structure, and by the display of its steady green foliage throughout the year.

With this documentary the author intends to keep a faithful time freeze of one way of doing things, forgotten, lost in time. It shows how for centuries the olive is picked up from the buckling to the traditional clean, is a trip to the past, a trip to a time still alive in the memories of many.

This documentary was made in a community oven with more than 200 years old. Although in poor condition, the oven is used from time to time for special occasions, and this was a special one: the oven and traditional activity where about to be documented.

Reaching the end of the day the Titicaca was lucky thing. I never saw that light anywhere. The color of the lake, the low clouds, you could almost touch. That’s when this series begins, trying to capture the frame that appeared on the turn a corner.

Bolivian Altiplano
From Uyuni to Chilean Atacama
From La Paz I went to Potosi, from Potosi went to Uyuni: a trip of 200 km that took eight hours.
The aim was to spend a few days in the deserts of Bolivia and out throught the Chilean Atacama. It were 4 chilling days filled with magnificent landscapes at high altitudes where the air is always cleaner with stronger and natural colors.

Machu Picchu is a magical and powerful place.
It was an exhausting day of sunshine and lots of rain. The aim was to go up to New Mountain (Wayna Picchu). One entry is allowed 200 people in the period of the morning and 200 people in the afternoon.
I managed to enter and climb to the New Mountain to contemplated Machu Picchu in all its splendor. It is a magnificent vision that rewards the climb with some difficulty. The morning clouds touched Wayna Picchu. Upon reaching the top we feel like birds flying over the Incas magical atmosphere.

A photographic series that I made as a tourist to Peru during the 2009. In Cusco region i visited: Sun temple, Salineras de Maras and Pisac Archeological Center. Then whent directly to Ollantaytambo to have acess to Machu Pichu. 3 days later i came back to Cusco.
